The British boxer prepares to battle the American YouTuber in an eight-bout contest which will be broadcast live on Netflix.
Briton Joshua declared he will "overwhelm entirely" Jake Paul and "break" the American as the combatants confronted each other to publicize next month's boxing match.
Former two-time world heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua meets YouTuber-turned-boxer Jake Paul - in what is, theoretically, a huge uneven pairing - at Miami's Kaseya Center on 19 December.
Boxer's Mentality
"I plan to damage his features and break his body up. I'm here to prove I'm the better fighter," Joshua, 35, said.
"I'll stamp all over him. That's how fighters think.
"I intend to really want to injure him. That's what I want to do."
Respectful Interaction
Despite these statements, a calm Anthony Joshua and internet personality Jake Paul - normally famous for his showmanship - exchanged pleasantries and remained civil with each other.
Jake Paul rather targeted former Joshua's opponent Francis Ngannou and called him "not serious" after the Cameroonian rejected a bout proposal.
Targeting Fury
Joshua, at the same time, targeted UK rival Tyson Fury - and rejected a £1m bet 'The Gypsy King' states he will put on a Paul victory.
"[Paul] is superior to Fury - he's actually sitting here," the boxer said.
"I respect him for that."
Legitimate Fighter
In spite of declaring he will damage his opponent, Joshua refused to speak negatively about his opponent's fighting skills.
"Jake is a serious fighter," he said.
Paul's Background
Paul - who originally gained popularity on the television network - has primarily fought mixed martial artists or past-their-prime fighters since turning professional.
He was defeated by British fighter Tommy Fury in last year.
Commercial Attraction
Still, the novice remains one of boxing's greatest financial successes, consistently making huge earnings.
Prediction and Confidence
The 28-year-old predicted a KO victory in rounds four or five and stated he would prevent the highly-expected match between Joshua and Fury, which is reportedly under discussion for two years from now.
"The next fight will be myself against Tyson Fury next year," Paul said.
Physical Disparity
As Joshua and Paul participated in the traditional stare-down, with their size difference clearly visible, it drove home just how surprising this whole event is - and how amazing it is that the match is actually going ahead.
